Cracks in concrete allow moisture and contaminants to penetrate and attack the reinforcing bar. The reinforcing bar deteriorates, losing the structural value. Loosing the entire structure is often the result.

Epoxy crack injection is typically used on horizontal, vertical, and overhead cracks. Epoxy injection resin has two purposes. First, it effectively seals the crack to prevent the damaging moisture entry. Secondly, it welds the structure together.

Crack injection is very effective at repairing concrete cracks and delaminating resin floors. Crack injection resin will weld concrete cracks but, will not repair the cause of the cracking.

Case Study – Brisbane Lions Admin Office

Water leaking from a suspended slab can cause major issues below.

In this instance the Brisbane Lions Admin Office had an inundation during a recent rain event.

Similar issues are apparent when car park slabs fail causing calcified water dripping onto expensive motor vehicle paintwork.

Injecting Polyurethane under pressure seals up the cracked concrete whilst still allowing for further movement within the slab.

After treatment water can no longer penetrate the slab in this area
